Kingside has always been free. No paywalls on play, puzzles, broadcasts or analysis. To keep it that way as the platform grows, we opened a Patreon page where players can support the project directly.
What your support pays for: server bills, the database that stores millions of games, broadcast infrastructure, and the engineering hours that ship new features — Puzzle Rush, coach tools, mobile apps, the things players keep asking for.
We set up a few support tiers, starting from a couple of dollars per month. Each tier adds something small in return — your name on the supporters list, a badge on your Kingside profile, early access to new features, a vote on what we build next. The full list lives on the Patreon page itself, so we don't have to update two places when it changes.
You don't have to pledge anything to keep using Kingside — the platform stays free for everyone. But if you've been playing here for a while and want to help us keep going without ads or paywalls, this is the way.
